About Me

Vie, according to Merriam-Webster, means "to strive for superiority". In French, Vie also means "life" or "existence". This double-meaning comes together in the name Vie Photography. We strive for excellence while capturing the meaningful moments in your life.

Personal

I was raised in Dallas, TX; Mesa, AZ; and Columbus, OH. Being raised in various cities across the country has forced me to step outside my comfort zone. This skill has helped me, throughout my life, to connect with people from a broad range of backgrounds. I married my husband in 2004, and he is my inspiration and my best friend.

Professional

I studied both digital photography and film photography concepts at the University of Utah. My photography style has grown out of this solid foundation of photography basics, and I have truly found a love of capturing people’s personalities in portraits. Flexibility and creativity are extremely important to me. I do not want your photography session to be uninteresting and uninspiring. Ideally, I would love to discuss your ideas and get to know you and your family a little, before the actual photo shoot. Usually, this helps me to capture you and your family in a way that shows who you really are. This can be done in a very traditional setting or a very non-traditional setting and everything in between. Incorporating your ideas and making your session unique and original are critical parts of making your family, engagement, or children’s photography session a success. Since I am committed to customer satisfaction, I am confident you will be happy with the results.
